This is my second purchase of Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser, and I really love it. It even removes eye makeup (although I haven't tried it on waterproof mascara). I tried it because my dermatologist diagnosed the redness on my nose, cheeks, and chin as rosacea, a very treatable condition in which small blood vessels form just under the surface of the skin causing the appearance of redness. Along with medication, he suggested several different cleansers, but all of them were a little strong for my skin. After I'd been using this cleanser for about four months, I went for a checkup, and he noticed the difference. He was very approving when he learned that I was using Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser, calling it the "expensive stuff." However, just a little goes a long way. So, a bottle can last six months or more. It's a great value compared to anything I can purchase over the counter or by mail!
